Audience: FaultFixers Admins, Managers. How to Add Buildings

Creating a Building:

Step 1: Navigate to the "Buildings" Tab

  • Go to the FaultFixers Web platform.

  • Click on the "Buildings" tab in the left-hand side menu.

Step 2: Add a New Building

  • Once on the "Buildings" page, locate and click on the "Add Building" button.

  • Fill in the necessary details, including the building's name and address.

  • Remember to click "Save" to finalise the creation of the new building.

πŸ“£ Pro Tip: You can easily modify existing buildings by selecting the desired building and updating its name, address, or main point of contact's details. Don't forget to click 'Save' after making any changes.

Assigning a Building to a User:

Step 1: Navigate to the "Team" > "Rights" Section

  • From the FaultFixers dashboard, go to the "Team" section.

  • Select "Rights" from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Select Specific Buildings for the User

  • In the "Rights" section, locate the user you want to assign a building to.

  • Check the boxes next to the building you want to grant access to for that user.

✍️ Note: Users will only receive notifications from buildings assigned to them. To manage notification preferences for unrelated buildings, adjust settings in the "Rights" (Permissions) view. This ensures users only see information relevant to the buildings they're assigned to.
