⚠️ How to Raise a Remedial Task

How to raise and manage remedial tasks from a PPM to ensure follow-up actions are tracked and completed correctly.

Updated over a week ago

Remedial tasks are raised when additional corrective action is required to fully resolve a fault, prevent recurrence, or address compliance or quality concerns identified during a PPM visit.

Creating a remedial ensures the issue is formally tracked, assigned, and completed within the appropriate timeframe. Raising a remedial task in FaultFixers is quick and straightforward.

How to Raise a Remedial Task from a PPM

  • Navigate to the PPM task you are currently completing.

  • Click on Forms.

  • Create the required form for the task.

  • Select Raise Remedial Job.

You will then be taken into the job creation flow. The process is the same as raising a reactive task. However, the job details will include a Link Type, which confirms that the new job is a remedial linked to the original PPM.

Linking Existing Reactive Jobs

If you have already raised a reactive task during your PPM visit, you can link that existing job to the PPM too.

Viewing Remedial Tasks

All remedial tasks can be viewed by filtering for 'Remedials' within the Reactive Jobs views.
