Once you have added Assets into your FaultFixers Asset Register via FaultFixers Web or the FaultFixers Teams App (black app), you can use your printed Asset Tag QR and link them to an asset using the following steps:
Step 1: Place an Asset Tag QR Code onto you asset
Place an asset tag QR code on to the asset you wish to tag.
Professional, scratch, abrasion, chemical-proof Asset Tag QR codes can be purchase from FaultFixers directly
Or you can self-print asset tags from your account
Step 2: Use the Teams App (black app) to Scan the QR Code
In the Other section, select 'Scan A Tag'
Scan the Asset Tag QR you have placed onto your asset.
Step 3: Click 'Assign to Activate + select the Asset you want to Link to
Click the 'Assign to Activate' button
Select from the list of assets in your account OR use the search box to find the asset you want to link this Asset Tag QR to
By selecting it, this will complete the Link
That's it - this Asset Tag QR is now activate and linked to your Asset
This Asset Tag QR can be scanned using the Teams App (black app) by maintenance and managers to see asset details, documents, tasks associated to this Asset.
It can also be scanned by the Reporter App (blue app) by your staff where they can log a reactive issue against the Asset directly.
